Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Ticket for Premium Toilet Access

by Riley May 23,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, set to take place at Liberty State Park. This premium upgrade offers players a range of exclusive in-game items and enhanced real-world facilities, including what Niantic describes as "upgraded restrooms." Go Fest is a major annual event that also occurs in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan, drawing thousands of enthusiasts eager to participate in this summer spectacle.

The $100 Premier Access add-on, likened to a Business Class experience, includes access to a dedicated lounge at the Jersey City event. This lounge features amenities such as upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and comfortable seating areas designed to help players recharge before their next adventure. While the specifics of the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed, these enhancements are exclusive to Premier Access ticket holders.

Additionally, those who opt for the Premier Access ticket will benefit from fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store. This perk allows players to skip long lines and spend more time exploring the event and catching Pokémon, rather than waiting to purchase merchandise.

The real draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, lies in its extensive list of in-game items. Players will receive a bounty of resources, including:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

These items would typically cost around $300 if purchased separately, offering significant value to those who invest in the Premier Access ticket. Additionally, ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge as a keepsake.

The reaction to this premium upgrade has been mixed among the Pokémon Go community. Some players feel that this is an unprecedented level of expenditure for the game, especially as it introduces yet another monetization option. Others appreciate the value provided by the in-game items and see it as a worthwhile investment for those with the disposable income to enhance their Go Fest experience.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if the Premier Access offer will be extended to other Go Fest locations. Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekends of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the Legendary Pokémon Volcanion and the broader release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
