This update, unveiled before the game's 10th anniversary, promises to enhance the gameplay experience with major upgrades and refinements. The official reveal took place on February 17, 2025, with more detailed information scheduled to be shared during a showcase in March 2025.

The much-anticipated Rainbow Six Siege X showcase is set for March 13, 2025, at 10:00 am (PDT) / 1:00 pm (EDT) in Atlanta, Georgia. This event is designed to be an immersive experience, bringing together players, creators, and developers to unveil the extensive changes coming with Siege X. The showcase promises to reveal new ways to play, enhanced tactical gameplay, refined game feel, and major upgrades across the board.

Fans eager to attend the event in person can purchase a USD $10 ticket, which includes an exclusive long-sleeve shirt and an in-game cosmetic pack. However, to participate, attendees must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a legal resident of the USA and Canada
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a good Rainbow Six Siege account (not banned or sanctioned)

Additionally, Ubisoft is offering VIP packages for two lucky Rainbow Six fans, which include a hotel stay, roundtrip flight, and entry to the Showcase event. This giveaway is also limited to legal residents of the USA and Canada.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Ubisoft has introduced new content for Season 1 of its 10th year, Operation Prep Phase, set to launch on March 4, 2025. This includes a new operator, Aurora, who can deploy bulletproof doors, a new elite skin for operator Aruni, and a reputation system that rewards or penalizes players based on their in-game behavior during a season.

While the new operator and other content will be available starting March 4, the major upgrades from Rainbow Six Siege X are expected to be implemented on the live servers at a later date, following the showcase.
