While some Service Station items like Mines and Grenades are single-use, others, such as weapons and drones, have a "battery life" that can be restored with Energy Crystals. In R.E.P.O., a container in your truck allows you to recharge these items, consuming an Energy Crystal in the process.

Purchased Energy Crystals are automatically stored in the container, so you don’t need to manage them manually. To recharge an item, place it in the yellow bucket beside the container to restore its health, ensuring your weapons or drones are ready to face the next level’s challenges.

Some levels are more demanding, causing items to wear out quickly based on usage. While you can recharge items with Energy Crystals at a location, you may not always be near your truck. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes invaluable, allowing you to manage item energy on the move.

Obtaining and Operating the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

Like other items and upgrades, the Recharge Drone is available at the Service Station, accessible after completing a level. Stock up on tools here to ease your next challenge, provided you have sufficient funds.

Since Service Station items spawn randomly, it may take several visits to find the Recharge Drone, which costs $4,000–$5,000. This compact device occupies one inventory slot, so assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 after purchase.

A battery bar beneath an item indicates its deterioration. To recharge, select the drone, activate it by pressing ‘E,’ and attach the depleted item. The Recharge Drone will restore it efficiently. When the drone’s battery runs low, recharge it using Energy Crystals in the truck’s container.
