The third leg retracts, the front hatches open and close, and the periscope extends from R2's head. LEGO's attention to detail is unparalleled, ensuring that every color, wire, tube, and light on R2's body is as screen-accurate as possible. R2-D2's most recent on-screen appearance was in 2021, in episode 6 of "The Book of Boba Fett," titled "From the Desert Comes a Stranger."
