Star Wars Celebration has unveiled our first glimpse of Rory McCann stepping into the role of Baylan Skoll for Season 2 of Ahsoka, succeeding the late Ray Stevenson. Ray Stevenson, known for his roles in Thor, RRR, Punisher: War Zone, Rome, and more, tragically passed away due to a brief illness just three months before Ahsoka's premiere. Many fans and critics alike have hailed Stevenson's portrayal of Baylan as a standout feature of the series thus far.

Ahsoka series creator Dave Filoni openly discussed the significant challenge of losing Stevenson, describing him as "the most beautiful person on screen and off." Filoni and the production team also shared insights into what fans can anticipate in Season 2, including the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, alongside characters like Admiral Ackbar, Zeb, Chopper, and others.

In our review of Ahsoka's inaugural season, we noted that it "initially faces challenges as it tries to bring viewers up to speed with characters and concepts from Dave Filoni's animated Star Wars shows. However, once the series fully embraces its actors and the expansive cosmic narratives, Ahsoka strikes a perfect balance of rich lore, humor, and epic battles, capturing the essence of classic Star Wars while charting a course toward something fresh and exciting."
