Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is slated for release sometime in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, Saros promises to refine and expand on the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The narrative will center around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

Evolve and Conquer

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived as a distinct IP, allowing Returnal to maintain its unique identity. While Returnal features procedurally generated levels, Saros will introduce persistent character progression, allowing players to enhance their weapons and suits, embodying the game's "Come Back Stronger" philosophy. This will enable players to overcome challenges more effectively with each playthrough.
