In 2023, Misuzu is visited by Yoko, a girl who claims to be her mother from the past, also 16 years old, having traveled from 1996. Yoko informs Misuzu that they must participate in the Seedsow Ceremony, a crucial ritual to prevent True Winter, an evil spirit, from taking over the gods' realm.

The narrative further unfolds as Misuzu jumps to the year 2050, where she meets her daughter, Tsumugi, another 16-year-old. They are joined by Hiruko, who asserts he is Yoko’s miscarried son and Misuzu’s unborn brother. Together, they must perform the Seedsow Ceremony in the Eternal Realm, a vibrant and mystical setting that serves as the home of the gods.
