Where To Find SGT. Winter in Fortnite Winterfest 2024

Mariah Carey has arrived in Fortnite, launching the 2024 Winterfest event! To complete the Wintervestigation Quests, you'll need to locate SGT. Winter. Here's how to find him:

SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6

The initial Wintervestigation Quest directs you to SGT. Winter to discuss his investigation. These Quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and find new NPCs.

The Quest tracker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location on the map, even before you start the match. He's near a plane crash site atop a snowy mountain east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate, close to Mariah Carey's in-game performance area.

Talking to SGT. Winter

SGT. Winter is an NPC patrolling near the plane wreckage. He's marked on your map and HUD with a speech bubble. Interact with him, and you'll see options to buy items (Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade) or initiate dialogue.

Select the magnifying glass icon to start the Wintervestigation conversation. He'll give you a new mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing the dialogue rewards you with 25,000 XP.

Surviving the Encounter

Reaching SGT. Winter can be challenging, as the area is a popular drop zone. Consider waiting a few days for things to calm down, or utilize these strategies:

• Buy your way out: Purchase items from SGT. Winter. The Holo Twister Assault Rifle is a strong early-game weapon.
• Loot and cover: The plane crash site offers ample cover and chests. Land quickly, secure loot, and use the wreckage for protection. Many players might only have pickaxes initially, giving you an advantage.
