Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse Launches on Android
Gravity Co. has just released their thrilling new game, Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, now available on Android. This game combines the elements of a deckbuilding roguelike with an RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world that's both intriguing and unpredictable.
The World Has Completely Changed… in the Game
In Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, you step into the shoes of an explorer emerging from a bunker 500 years after a devastating war that nearly eradicated humanity. Your mission is to rebuild civilization in the chaotic new world of Eustea, which is divided into over 100 zones, each with unique stories and peculiar histories.
Humanity has managed to survive in scattered groups across the continent, but the remnants of society are vastly different from what they once were. Some factions are vying for dominance, while others are simply struggling to survive.
Take a look at Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse in action below:
Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse Is a Text-Based RPG with Roguelike Deckbuilding
Every decision you make in Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse carries weight and consequences. You'll face numerous crossroads where you must choose whether to engage in combat, negotiate, or retreat. These choices lead to diverse outcomes, ensuring that each player's journey through the game is unique.
The game offers multiple endings, from saving a community to causing its downfall or even perishing without making a significant impact. The concept of the butterfly effect is central here; even seemingly minor decisions can lead to major outcomes.
Combat in the game is based on a deckbuilding system, where you can construct your deck from over 300 cards, 200 skills, and various pieces of equipment. You can choose to fight as a modern soldier equipped with contemporary weaponry or as a medieval knight.
As you explore, you'll document your findings in a pictorial log, capturing everything from bizarre creatures and ancient artifacts to strangely preserved books. Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse is now available on the Google Play Store for $6.99.
