"Shining Revelry Expansion Coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket This Month"

My interest in Pokemon TCG Pocket tends to ebb and flow. I dive back in with enthusiasm whenever a new set is released and keep playing as long as there are Emblems to earn from achieving around 40 wins. Once that goal is met, my routine shifts to logging in daily, opening my packs, doing a Wonder Pick just for fun, and then moving on until the next day. This cycle is set to repeat with the arrival of the latest expansion, Shining Revelry, on March 27th.

This expansion is bringing 110 new cards to the game, including exciting new Ex Pokemon, Trainer cards, and those stunning art cards that fans adore. The highlight of Shining Revelry is the inclusion of Shiny Pokemon, which are unique color variants of your favorite creatures. For instance, you'll find Lucario in yellow instead of blue, and Pachirisu with a striking pink stripe.

The trailer for Shining Revelry offers a tantalizing preview of what's to come. A standout is the new Shiny Charizard Ex, boasting 180 HP and a powerful attack, Steam Artillery, that delivers 150 damage but requires a hefty five energy. Thankfully, its other move, Stoke, allows you to attach three Fire Energy cards at once, making it more manageable.

Lucario, another Ex card, steps up from its supporting role in the previous Space-Time Smackdown expansion. While its 150 HP might not be groundbreaking, its Aura Sphere attack, which requires three Fighting Energy to deal 100 damage to the active Pokemon and an additional 30 to a Benched Pokemon, could be a game-changer.

The trailer also teases other cards that, while not as game-altering, are still visually appealing and exciting. Shiny versions of Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom are on the horizon, each looking fantastic. Additionally, a beautifully designed Tatsugiri art rare is a must-have for my digital collection.
