The Sims Freeplay Launches Make a Splash Summer Update

Summer has officially arrived in The Sims! The new Make a Splash update kicks off a broader Summer Vacation Series in The Sims Freeplay. With the first chapter now live, this season is all about celebrating everything summer brings.

From vibrant street parties to sunny pool days and backyard barbecues!

The excitement begins in The Sims Freeplay with the Make a Splash update, guiding you through exciting vacation getaways. Rocky Heights has also grown. Players who completed Rustic Acres can now explore Breezy Fields, a second neighbourhood inspired by Dutch flower fields and wide-open scenery.

Breezy Fields includes four new house lots, a landmark, and plenty of rewards, including a decorative tractor. You might need to repair the road before driving in, though.

SimTown is also celebrating Pride 2025 with great enthusiasm. During the update, you'll receive two free inbox gifts—one early in the month and another later on. Rainbow crosswalks now brighten the SimTown map. A new Craft Challenge event is bringing everyone together to create vibrant decorations for the celebration.

Explore a Wide Range of Events!

First, the Influence Island: Currency Heist event challenges you to track down a ring of burglars stealing money from local shops. Your reward is a massive one million Simoleons, plus Life Points and Social Points.

The Craft Challenge – SimTown Pride Party event is another major highlight. You'll help bring the Pride celebration to life by crafting bright, joyful decorations.

The next event, Influence Island – Pool’s Out For Summer?!, introduces some drama. Nancy Landgraab plans to tear down the town's favorite pool and build a twelve-story parking garage instead. A group of wealthy investors, relaxing on a nearby beach, must step in to save this beloved spot.

Several more events are currently underway. If you're ready to dive into the fun with The Sims Freeplay, download the game from the Google Play Store.
