Solo Leveling: Arise\'s Championship 2025 prelims kick off later this month

Solo Leveling: Arise’s 2025 Championship prelims begin February 21st, pitting players against the clock for the fastest clear times. The top contenders will vie for a substantial prize pool at the April finals.

Competitive gaming is ubiquitous, and esports fuel the longevity of many titles. Netmarble’s Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025 (announced earlier this year) aims to replicate this success for its popular manhwa-inspired game.

The Solo Leveling: Arise Championship is a surprising but welcome addition. Preliminaries, open from February 21st to March 9th, require players to have at least 1000 points from Battlefield of Time season 7. The competition features Asian and International leagues, utilizing four Battlefield of Time maps.

Players’ rankings are determined by their combined fastest times across these four maps. The top eight from each league advance to the SLC grand finals in Korea on April 12th, competing for a 20 million KRW prize pool.

A Solo Competitive Scene?

While a competitive championship for a primarily single-player game might seem unusual, Solo Leveling’s source material popularity and South Korea’s vibrant esports scene suggest a promising tournament. High viewership is anticipated.
