Sequel Trilogy star Oscar Isaac's confirmed appearance at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Tokyo (April 18-20) has ignited fervent speculation about a potential return of his character, Poe Dameron. The announcement, made via the official Star Wars Celebration Instagram, follows Daisy Ridley's 2023 Celebration appearance, where she announced her involvement in a new Star Wars film. This parallel has fans anticipating a similar revelation from Isaac.

While the Sequel Trilogy concluded in 2019 with The Rise of Skywalker, Isaac's stance on returning to the franchise has evolved. Initially expressing reluctance (requiring "another house" as motivation in 2020), he later told Variety in 2022 that he was "open to anything," indicating a shift in his perspective.
