"Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Release Date Announced; Spin-Off Series to Feature Ninth Jedi Story"

Star Wars Celebration brought thrilling news for fans, announcing that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to premiere on October 29, 2025. This eagerly awaited volume will continue to showcase the creative synergy between Star Wars and Japanese anime, featuring nine captivating short films from renowned studios such as Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (famous for Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.

The celebration also revealed that three episodes will pick up where previous tales left off: Kamikaze Douga's "The Duel," Kinema citrus Co.'s "The Village Bride," and Production I.G.'s "The Ninth Jedi."

In an exciting development, the narrative arc of "The Ninth Jedi" will expand into a new spin-off series. This series will delve deeper into the Star Wars: Visions universe, with a focus on longer storytelling. Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director behind "The Ninth Jedi," attended Star Wars Celebration to share insights about the continuation of Kara's journey in this new venture.

Although details are sparse, it's confirmed that Kara will reunite with Juro in the upcoming episode titled "Child of Hope" in Volume 3. This promises to be an exciting continuation of their story.
