Stardew Valley Creator Gives Update on Upcoming Switch Patch
Stardew Valley's Nintendo Switch Update: Addressing Divorce Crash and Raccoon Shop Issues
ConcernedApe, the creator of Stardew Valley, has confirmed via social media that a much-anticipated Nintendo Switch patch is imminent. This patch will resolve persistent issues, including a game-breaking divorce crash and problems affecting the raccoon shop.
While these bugs have already been rectified across PC, mobile, and other console versions, the Switch update remains under development. ConcernedApe assures players that the release is prioritized and will be deployed "as soon as possible."
The delay follows the release of the substantial 1.6 update, which introduced numerous features such as expanded NPC dialogue, the Meadowlands Farm, and enhanced visuals. Unfortunately, subsequent patches inadvertently introduced new bugs, necessitating further fixes.
The developer's proactive communication and swift responses to player feedback have been widely praised. While a precise release date for the Switch patch remains unannounced, the community can expect its arrival shortly. The focus remains on delivering a stable and enjoyable experience for all Switch players.
