The much-anticipated Suikoden STAR LEAP, the latest addition to the iconic Suikoden franchise, is set to bring a console-like gaming experience to mobile devices. In an insightful interview with Famitsu on March 4, 2025, Star Leap's developers shed light on the game's development process.

Star Leap Producer Shinya Fujimatsu elaborated on the decision to launch on mobile platforms, stating, "Our goal was to make Suikoden accessible to as many people as possible, and mobile is the most convenient platform for that. We're committed to ensuring that Star Leap captures the essence of Suikoden, delivering a high-quality experience that fans expect from a mainline entry."

The development team is focused on blending the rich visuals, immersive soundscapes, and compelling narratives of console games with the convenience of mobile gaming.

Expressing Suikoden in STAR LEAP
