Surprise! Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is announced

Last year brought many gaming surprises, but few were as welcome as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Its success clearly impressed Focus Entertainment, leading to the unexpected announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3! While details are scarce, the teaser trailer confirms the return of fan-favorite protagonist, Captain Titus.

Saber Interactive, the team behind the hugely popular Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm. Specifics about the third installment remain under wraps for now, but Space Marine 2 players can look forward to continued support this year, including new co-op missions and a horde mode.

Beyond the Space Marine franchise, Saber Interactive is busy on several other fronts. A recently announced action game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe is in development, boasting a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. Another exciting project is Turok: Origins, promising thrilling dinosaur-infused combat.

It's remarkable that Space Marine 2, released only six months ago (September 2024), has already captivated over five million players.
