Tears of Themis Drops the Ballad of the Dunes Event with New MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis Unveils "Ballad of the Dunes" Collaboration

Tears of Themis has launched a new collaborative event, "Ballad of the Dunes," partnering with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism department. This exciting crossover seamlessly blends the game's signature detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.

What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?

This event offers a captivating blend of history, romance, and mystery, immersing players in the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases distinct aspects of Dunhuang's culture, inspired by flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the traditional pipa. The art style evokes the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves.

• Unique Card Stories: Each MR card – Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation" – offers a unique narrative, complemented by Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year journey.

Event Rewards:

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A key challenge involves a cell-flipping game board mechanic to unlock prizes. The ultimate reward is the choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells grants the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
