Ultraman Puzzle Shuwatch Launches for Series

Ultra is turning 60 next year, prompting Tsuburaya Productions to announce a grand celebration. Dubbed the Ultra Series 60th Anniversary Project, this initiative aims to expand Ultraman's global legacy. Among the highlights is a new mobile game titled Ultraman Puzzle Shuwatch.

What to Expect from Ultraman Puzzle Shuwatch?

Ultraman Puzzle Shuwatch will be a match-3 puzzle game launching globally on Android and iOS in 2025. Note that the game won't be available in mainland China or EU countries.

The game transports players to planet Milanos, a distant world where they'll encounter 60+ characters spanning the entire Ultra series timeline - from classic Showa-era heroes to modern Reiwa-era figures.

Expect to see fan favorites like Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga Multi Type, Ultra Seven, Alien Baltan, Gomorrah, and Zetton. The game is co-developed by MetaField and StudioZ, both under the Tsuburaya Group umbrella.

Six Decades of Ultra Legacy

Ultraman first graced TV screens in July 1966 through Ultra Q, captivating audiences with messages of courage and hope. The anniversary celebration will span two and a half years, featuring not just the game but also a new TV series, live events, digital content, and merchandise.

The choice of a match-3 format might surprise some fans - will it capture Ultraman's action-packed essence? Only time will tell. While no exact release date is confirmed yet, interested players can track updates on the official website.
