The much-anticipated English version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby is finally galloping towards a global release. Developer Cygames made the exciting announcement on Twitter (X) on April 27, with pre-registrations opening the very next day on April 28.

Originally launched in Japan on February 24, 2021, for iOS, Android, and PC, Umamusume: Pretty Derby introduces players to a world where legendary racehorses are reborn as "horse girls" or "Umamusume." These characters blend the appearance of high school girls with the physical attributes of horses, including ears, tails, and exceptional speed and endurance. Set in Tokyo's Tracen Academy, these horse girls train to achieve fame as both racers and idols.
