How Does The Terminator Event Work in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

The Terminator event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone operates similarly to the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event from the Holiday Season. Instead of relying on XP or challenges, this event revolves around collecting a new currency called Skulls during matches and trading them for rewards in the event tab. These Skulls are thematically aligned with the T-800’s iconic skeletal frame and murderous nature.

Skulls are obtained from eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies modes or by opening caches in Warzone. To collect a Skull, players must walk over it after it drops. You can track your total collection in the pause menu or within The Terminator event tab.

However, not every elimination or cache opening guarantees a Skull drop. Their appearance can seem somewhat random, so remain vigilant after each elimination or cache opening for a floating Skull near the ground. Listen for specific audio cues that signal when Skulls spawn and are picked up.

How To Earn Skulls Fast in The Terminator Event in Call of Duty

Given the randomness of Skull drops, the best strategy to progress quickly is to increase your chances by maximizing eliminations and cache openings. Here are the most effective methods for each major mode in Call of Duty:

• Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: Opt for Kill Confirmed on small maps like Nuketown to maximize your eliminations.
• Black Ops 6 Zombies: Use the Rampage Inducer and focus on farming zombie eliminations, especially in the early rounds (before Round 6) in maps like Liberty Falls or The Tomb. Utilize GobbleGums such as Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power to upgrade your weapon quickly.
