Unlocking All Characters in BlazBlue Entropy Effect: A Guide
Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* is a unique experience, requiring items called Prototype Analyzers. Our comprehensive *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* character unlock guide not only explains how to obtain these crucial items but also provides a detailed rundown of all playable characters.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters

Your journey begins right after completing the tutorial, where you'll receive your first Prototype Analyzer along with guidance on its usage. To unlock your first character, exit the Acer Program room through the passage on your right, leading you to a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose your desired character.
For subsequent characters, revisit this room and use additional Prototype Analyzers in the same manner. Note that DLC characters, such as Rachel and Hazama as of March 2025, are an exception. These characters are automatically unlocked upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers

*Entropy Effect* offers multiple ways to acquire additional Prototype Analyzers, though patience is key.
Progress the story: As you advance through the game's narrative and complete training missions, you'll unlock gray skills. Reaching specific milestones like unlocking 10, 20, and 40 gray skills rewards you with a Prototype Analyzer. Additionally, a key event later in the story also grants you one automatically. Note that unlocking green skills via Potential does not provide Prototype Analyzers. As of now, without further additions from developer 91Act, you can only obtain three Prototype Analyzers this way.
Complete Mind Challenges and spend AP: Another method involves the Mind Challenge mode. Accumulate points and trade them with the janitor for a Prototype Analyzer. Each one costs 5,000 AP, so this isn't a frequent opportunity.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters
As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features 12 characters, with 10 available in the base game and 2 as paid DLC. Here's a look at each character, excluding the DLC characters that you can unlock with a simple purchase.
Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna is your typical melee fighter with a unique twist. He excels in close-range combat but gains power as his HP diminishes. His special ability allows him to sacrifice health for buffs and regain some by siphoning it from enemies.
Jin Kisaragi

Jin, another melee specialist, focuses on sophisticated swordplay and ice-based abilities. He can freeze opponents and, with well-timed combos, boost his strength significantly while confusing enemies with enhanced speed.
Noel Vermillion

Noel stands out with her ranged combat prowess. She can unleash a barrage of missiles and has a special ability to reduce skill cooldowns. Additionally, her Over-Exhaust feature allows her to continue casting skills even when her MP hits zero.
Taokaka

While Taokaka may struggle against heavily armored foes, her versatility in build options is her strength. Her Spinny Spinny attack can hit multiple times and apply various status effects, making her adaptable to almost any playstyle.
Hakumen

Hakumen embodies the tank archetype, excelling in absorbing hits and delivering powerful attacks. His ability to counter at a reduced MP cost after blocking makes him a formidable opponent. Outfit him with a midair attack for versatility against any enemy type.
Lambda-11

Lambda-11 combines close and long-range combat effectively. She's powerful, with skills that continue damaging enemies even when not directly attacking, making her suitable for any combat scenario.
Kokonoe

Kokonoe is often seen as one of the weaker characters due to her reliance on precise management of lasers and crowd control effects. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she can be quite effective.
Hibiki Kohaku

Hibiki excels at evasion and crowd control, making him less about raw power and more about strategic play. His ability to keep enemies at bay is his key strength.
Es

Es is exceptionally powerful from the start. She can counter after dodging, execute mid-air combos, and has crowd-control abilities, making her versatile and effective in any situation.
Mai Nastume

Mai has a high skill ceiling, requiring mastery of her combos. Her Heavy Attack is a standout feature, but her real strength lies in chaining combos for maximum damage and mobility.
