Upcoming Disney Pixel RPG From Teppen Creators!

GungHo Entertainment, creators of the popular crossover card battler Teppen, are diving into the world of Disney with their latest project: Disney Pixel RPG. This retro-inspired role-playing game promises a massive roster of pixel art Disney characters.

Expected to launch later this year, Disney Pixel RPG lets players recruit and battle iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds. Gameplay blends battle, action, and rhythm challenges. Players can also create and customize their own avatars to fight alongside their favorite Disney heroes. The game features auto-battling with options for direct player control during key moments. The storyline centers around combating strange programs plaguing the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossover games. However, given Disney's extensive library of films and properties, this project offers an unprecedented opportunity for character selection. GungHo's experience managing large casts makes them well-suited for this ambitious undertaking.
