"Next Update: Jukebox and Building Added to Schedule 1"
Schedule 1, one of Steam's top-selling games, is gearing up for its next exciting update. Solo developer Tyler, from TVGS, recently shared a sneak peek on Twitter (X) on May 1, revealing what fans can look forward to in the upcoming patch. This update promises to bring fresh content to the game, including a new building named "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that could allow players to customize the game's soundtrack, and an intriguing empty corridor. Although the exact release date remains under wraps, the update will first enter a beta phase, accessible by switching to the beta branch in the game's Steam settings. For more details on what's coming, players can check out the game's Trello board.
Upcoming Update Adds New Building, Jukebox, and More
Schedule 1's consistent updates keep it at the forefront of Steam's top-selling list, and the next patch is no exception. In his Twitter (X) post, Tyler showcased images of the new "Stash and Dash" building, the much-anticipated Jukebox, and an empty corridor, hinting at new gameplay elements and possibilities. The update is nearly ready for its open beta, but fans will need to switch to the beta branch in their Steam settings to get early access. While no official release date has been announced, the Trello board offers further insights into TVGS's plans and updates.
Plans for Map Expansion
In his inaugural dev stream on Twitch last week, Tyler shared his vision for expanding Schedule 1's map. He showcased 3D modeling work and outlined plans to add a "swampy, slummy area" and extend the more affluent side of town with additional houses over the cliffs. His long-term goal is to develop the island across from the main area. Although these ambitious plans will take time due to Tyler's solo development efforts, the community is buzzing with excitement about the potential enhancements to the game.
