Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been hit with yet another delay, now setting its sights on an October 2025 release. This news was shared via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update from Executive Producer Marco Behrmann. He assured fans that the core development is complete and the team is now focusing on polishing the game through bug fixing, enhancing stability, and optimizing performance to ensure the best possible experience upon release.

Over the past few months, Paradox has been keeping the community engaged through Dev Diaries, which provided insights into the game’s characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to concentrate on refining the game, all future Dev Diaries have been put on hold.

Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance

The journey of Bloodlines 2 has been tumultuous since its initial reveal in March 2019, with an original release target of March 2020. Developed initially by Hardsuit Labs, the game faced its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, followed by further postponements to 2021. Amid these delays, significant changes occurred behind the scenes, including the departure of multiple project leads.

In a pivotal shift, Paradox Interactive announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved with the project. The reins were handed over to The Chinese Room, sparking renewed hope for the game's future. Despite this transition, the release date continued to shift—from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
