But Snowbreak's upcoming version might change that mindset. The new featured character promises to be worth the investment. The update runs from May 29, 2025 through July 10, 2025 - a 42-day event period.

Vidya - Celestial Swan

Positioning herself as the game's premier defense-disabling support, Vidya's Celestial Swan exosuit arms her with a sniper rifle and Chaos-type attributes. Her unique ability weakens enemy defenses by adapting to any teammate's combat type while maintaining persistent visual effects after swapping out. This allows her debuffs to remain active as you control other squad members.

Her universal compatibility makes Vidya an ideal partner for Chaos-types like Nerida – Styx Envoy and Marian – Riptide, while also synergizing perfectly with off-type allies such as Chenxing – Jade Arc and Yao – Nightglow. This adaptability ensures lasting relevance similar to Acacia – Kaguya, whose all-type resistance reduction established her as a mainstay.
