Warframe Android Closed Beta Set for Fall 2025

Warframe, the multiplayer action shooter RPG by Digital Extremes, debuted on iOS in February 2024. Following its release, Android pre-registration opened, and now the game is gearing up for its first closed beta test on Android. Exciting times ahead!

Details on the Warframe Android Closed Beta

Announced during Day 2 of TennoCon 2025, the beta is slated for Fall 2025. Like the iOS beta, Digital Extremes will send invitations to the email linked to your Warframe account.

If you don’t have a Warframe account yet, create one now. Visit the official website to sign up or pre-register for the game.

Beta participants will enjoy the complete Warframe experience. Controller support is confirmed for various devices, including Bluetooth gamepads like DualSense and Xbox Wireless Controller, as well as USB options like the Razer Kishi or Backbone.

However, there are some restrictions. Cross-platform play and voice chat won’t be available during the beta. Additionally, unlike the full version of Warframe, the Android closed beta will exclude in-game purchases.

After the beta concludes, all progress will be reset, meaning nothing from the test will carry over to the full mobile release.

Ready for Warframe on Android?

First announced for mobile in 2021, Warframe is a third-person shooter featuring five expansions and over 30 story-driven quests. Players can unlock more than 57 unique Warframes and explore a vast universe. The game will be free to play.

Pre-register now via the Google Play Store to secure the Cumulus Collection when the game launches on Android.
