"Worms Across Worlds: New Turn-Based Multiplayer Game Coming to Apple Arcade"

Worms Across Worlds is Team17’s latest entry in the beloved Worms series.
Coming to Apple Arcade, it delivers an expansive multiverse campaign filled with adventure.
Experience the classic charm of the Worms franchise with a wide selection of weapons and gadgets to unleash.

I doubt many have ever played a Worms game by Team17 and didn’t find it endlessly entertaining. Few things match the thrill of launching your friend into the sky and off the map with a perfectly timed rocket. Now, with Worms Across Worlds, Apple Arcade users can enjoy that same exhilarating fun firsthand.

As you’d expect, Worms Across Worlds sends you hurtling across the multiverse to thwart the villainous Professor Worminkle and save the universe. That means battling through wildly varied levels—from familiar terrain to bizarre realms like Jelly, Origami, and Lava worlds.

Worms Across Worlds features a standalone campaign with 12 chapters and 100 missions, playable solo or with a friend in couch co-op. You’ll also find all the hallmarks of the Worms series, including local multiplayer and fast-paced AI battles.

Wormed away

The Worms series places you in control of these tiny, tattered warriors, where your goal is to blast opponents off fully destructible maps using an arsenal of chaotic weapons. With that in mind, Worms Across Worlds sticks to the tried-and-true formula—adding only fresh, eccentric battlegrounds.

I’m eager to see how Worms Across Worlds turns out and how fans respond when it launches on the expected date of August 7th. Here’s hoping it eventually arrives on Android and iOS too!
