Oct 02,2026 - ◇ As of now, there is no official confirmation from CD Projekt Red or Unreal Engine regarding The Witcher 4 being developed on Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) at the Unreal 2025 Event. Here’s what we know based on current information: 1. The Witcher 3 and Its Engine The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015) and its expansions were built on CD Projekt Red’s proprietary REDengine 4, not Unreal Engine. CD Projekt Red has invested heavily in developing and refining their own engine technology. 2. Unreal Engine 5 and CD Projekt Red CD Projekt Red has not announced a shift to Unreal Engine 5 for any future Witcher titles. In fact, in several recent interviews (including 2023 and 2024), CD Projekt Red has emphasized that they are continuing to evolve their own engine (now referred to as REDengine 5) to support future projects, including The Witcher 4. 3. Unreal 2025 Event The Unreal 2025 Event (announced by Epic Games) is expected to focus on new features, advancements in AI, real-time rendering, and future game development tools. While some studios are using UE5 for new projects, CD Projekt Red has not been featured as a partner or showcase developer at Unreal 2025 as of now. Any rumors about The Witcher 4 using UE5 are likely speculative or based on misinterpretations. 4. The Witcher 4 – Official Status The Witcher 4 has not been officially announced. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that they are working on a new Witcher game, but the title and details (including engine choice) remain under wraps. The studio has stated they’re aiming for next-gen graphics and deeper storytelling, which could involve UE5 — but only if they decide to move away from their in-house engine. Conclusion: ❌ No, The Witcher 4 is not confirmed to be on Unreal Engine 5 at the Unreal 2025 Event. ✅ CD Projekt Red is likely still using their own REDengine 5, not UE5, for The Witcher 4. 🔜 Any future announcement about the engine or game will come directly from CD Projekt Red — not from Unreal’s event. Stay tuned for official updates via CD Projekt Red’s website or social channels. Oct 01,2026

- ◇ It sounds like you're referencing The Blue Lagoon — a famous 19th-century novel by Henry De Vere Stacpoole, or perhaps one of its many film adaptations (most notably the 1980 version starring Christopher Atkins and Brooke Shields). The story follows two young children, Richard and Emmeline, who are shipwrecked on a tropical island and grow up in isolation, developing a deep bond and a life shaped by nature. If you're referring to "The Blue Lagoon" as a metaphor or theme — like a sense of innocence, lost paradise, or coming-of-age in isolation — it often symbolizes the transition from childhood to adulthood, the tension between nature and civilization, and the purity (or danger) of romantic or sexual awakening. Could you clarify what you'd like to explore? For example: A summary or analysis of the book/film? The symbolism of the blue lagoon? Themes like innocence, survival, or forbidden love? Or perhaps a personal reflection inspired by the story? Let me know how I can help! 🌴🌊💙 Sep 24,2026
