On RYFFC, users are exposed to a diverse range of thoughts, articles, and opinions. While our platform embraces free speech without censorship, we ensure it remains a positive experience through robust anti-bullying systems and a comprehensive self-moderation system. This allows users to curate their feed, avoiding content they're not ready to engage with.

Ryff

A key feature of RYFFC is the Ryff. A Ryff is a concise "hot take" on an article, limited to just 88 characters, crafted by the user. This innovative feature allows Ryffers to share their quick thoughts on articles, pop culture, and news, moving away from traditional comment structures. If a Ryff catches your eye, you can engage further by responding with a Ryff Back. Remember, at RYFFC, we take turns, so choose your words wisely as you can only Ryff on another's Ryff once until they respond.

Self Moderation

RYFFC empowers users with self-moderation, allowing them to select their preferred level of exposure to controversial or triggering content. We offer three levels of moderation:

• G - "General" audience level, ideal for those who prefer mild or non-controversial content.
• M - "Moderate" audience level, suitable for users open to mild to moderately controversial content.
• BE - "Bleeding Edge" audience level, for those who wish to view all available content, including highly controversial topics.

Voting

In addition to self-moderation, users can vote on the moderation level of articles, ensuring content aligns with community standards and preferences.

Superboost

Superboost adds an exciting twist to the traditional "Like" feature. If you come across a post you really enjoy, you can give it an extra boost, making your appreciation count even more.

Like/Dislike

Our Like/Dislike system offers a fresh take on the classic feature. Instead of clicking a thumb, simply swipe left or right on the article to express your opinion.
