Samsung Notes is a versatile app that lets you create, edit, and collaborate on documents across your mobile, tablet, or PC. With Samsung Notes, you can add annotations to PDFs using the S Pen and even integrate images or voice recordings into your documents. The app seamlessly connects with various formats like PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint, enhancing your productivity.

To start, simply tap the + icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen to create a new note. These notes will save with the "sdocx" extension, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.

For those concerned about privacy, Samsung Notes offers robust security features. To protect your notes, navigate to the main screen, tap More Options in the upper right corner, select Settings, and then choose Lock Note. Here, you can set a locking method and password. To lock individual notes, go to the note you want to secure, tap More Options, and select Lock Note.

For a more personalized touch, you can create handwritten notes by tapping the Handwriting icon while composing a note. This feature allows your handwriting to appear directly on your note, giving it a personal flair. Additionally, you can enhance your notes with photos by tapping the photo icon within your note, which allows you to take a new photo or edit and add tags to an existing one.

Voice recordings can also be integrated into your notes. Simply tap the Voice Recording icon while writing to record and add audio content. Furthermore, Samsung Notes provides an array of writing tools. Tap the Pen icon to choose from various options like pens, fountain pens, pencils, and highlighters, each available in different colors and thicknesses. If you need to make corrections, the Eraser icon is at your disposal to remove unwanted content.

Samsung Notes also supports importing notes and memos created in other apps. Use the Smart Switch feature to bring in data from S Note and Memo saved on other devices. Additionally, you can import previously created notes and memos linked to your Samsung account, ensuring all your important data is consolidated in one place.

Regarding app permissions, Samsung Notes requires certain access to function optimally. The required permission is Storage, which is used to save or load document files. Optional permissions include access to Photos and Videos, Notifications, Music and Audio, Phone, Microphone, and Camera. These permissions enhance the app's functionality but are not mandatory for basic use.
