How To Play

Town of Salem can accommodate between 7 to 15 players, each randomly assigned to different alignments such as Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. If you're a Town member, your mission is clear: track down the Mafia and other villains before they eliminate you. The twist? You won't know who's a friend and who's a foe until it's too late. On the flip side, if you're an evil role like a Serial Killer, your job is to secretly dispatch Town members under the cover of night, all while evading capture.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, Town of Salem guarantees a fresh experience with each playthrough. Before the game kicks off, players gather in a lobby where the host can tailor the roles available. Once the game starts, roles are randomly assigned from the selected list, and each player receives a role card detailing their abilities and alignments. Game Phases

Night

The night phase is when the game's intrigue peaks. This is the time when most roles exercise their abilities. Serial Killers stealthily claim their victims, Doctors work tirelessly to save lives, and Sheriffs hunt for signs of suspicious behavior.

Day

During the day phase, Town members gather to discuss their suspicions and try to unmask the evil roles lurking among them. Once the voting phase begins, a majority vote from the Town can send a suspect to trial.

Defense

In the defense phase, the accused gets a chance to plead their case. A compelling story might just save you from the gallows, but a weak defense could seal your fate.

Judgement

The judgement phase is when the Town casts their final verdict. Players can vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. If the guilty votes outnumber the innocent ones, the defendant faces a grim end by hanging.

Customization

Personalize your experience in Town of Salem by choosing your map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a custom name. Your selections will be visible to other players, adding a unique flair to your gameplay.
