6 Cartoon Network Games Have Been Delisted

Warner Bros. Discovery's sudden removal of several Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games has sparked significant fan backlash. The delisting, affecting at least six titles across platforms like Steam and the Nintendo eShop, occurred without explanation. Gamers are now unable to legally purchase these popular titles.

This action is linked to Warner Bros. Discovery's cost-cutting measures, mirroring previous decisions to shelve films and remove content from streaming services. A similar delisting event involving Adult Swim games happened in March 2024, although public pressure prevented the complete removal of some titles.

The recently delisted games include:

  • Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest
  • Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games
  • OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes
  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time
  • Steven Universe: Save the Light
  • Steven Universe: Unleash the Light

While some Cartoon Network Games remain available (e.g., Cartoon Network Journeys VR), the lack of communication from Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoon Network Games, and Adult Swim Games regarding the delisting has fueled fan frustration. The removal of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, particularly, is controversial, as it contained the canonical conclusion to the show's fifth season.

The oldest game affected, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest, debuted in April 2014, highlighting the longevity and significance of these titles to fans. Other notable release years include 2018 (Steven Universe: Save the Light, OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes) and 2021 (Steven Universe: Unleash the Light). The lack of transparency surrounding these removals has left fans disappointed and demanding answers.
