Car simulation fans mark January 16, 2025, as a landmark day. Kunos Simulazioni Studios releases Assetto Corsa EVO on Steam Early Access.

At launch, players can race 20 meticulously crafted cars across five iconic tracks: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka. Despite its early access phase, the game boasts refined physics, responsive controls, and lifelike car handling.

A standout feature is the free-ride mode. A major update slated for summer 2025 will introduce roads around the renowned Nürburgring track, with a fully laser-scanned open world spanning up to 1600 square kilometers, set to expand over time.

Assetto Corsa EVO aims to redefine car simulation, taking on industry leaders like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport with stunning photorealistic visuals and cutting-edge physics.

On release, the game will feature 100 vehicles and 15 tracks, with additional content planned via free updates. Each circuit mirrors real-world conditions, from tire wear to wet surfaces, with animated crowds enhancing immersion.

Developers have upgraded vehicle dynamics, suspension, and shock absorption for a true-to-life feel. The Driving Academy mode challenges players to complete tracks within time limits to earn licenses, unlocking access to elite cars in this engaging single-player experience during Early Access.
