"Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Launches Open Arena Mode Testing"

Unfrozen has recently unveiled an exciting new gameplay trailer for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, providing fans with an in-depth look at the game's core mechanics, diverse units, and immersive gameplay. This eagerly anticipated strategy game is stirring up excitement within the gaming community. Alongside the trailer, Unfrozen announced the commencement of registration for the closed beta test of the "Arena" mode. Enthusiasts can sign up for this exclusive testing phase via the game's Steam page, with the beta scheduled to run from March 17 to March 28.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is slated to enter early access on Steam in the second quarter of 2025. At its launch, players can expect to dive into a rich experience featuring six unique factions, three engaging single-player modes, and three competitive multiplayer modes. The game is being brought to the market by Ubisoft, a renowned name in the gaming industry, ensuring high-quality publishing and support.

The developers have recently introduced the Dungeon faction, adding a thrilling dimension to the game. This faction includes a variety of units such as troglodytes, dark elves, minotaurs, medusas, hydras, and dragons. Each unit offers distinct abilities and strategies, enhancing the game's strategic depth and offering players new ways to outmaneuver their opponents.

Unfrozen candidly shared the challenges they encountered while developing the Arena mode, particularly in balancing skills and heroes within the limited space and without initial advantages. However, the team successfully overcame these hurdles, ensuring that the Arena mode will provide a smooth and engaging experience for players during the closed beta test and beyond.

While Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is set to release on PC later this year, an exact launch date has yet to be announced. The developers are crafting the game to cater to both long-time fans of the series and newcomers, promising a welcoming and strategic experience for all players.
