Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Update Sparks Compensation Package

Infinity Nikki has issued compensation for Version 1.5's problematic launch. Here's what players will receive due to the game's technical issues and how developer Infold Games is addressing the situation.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Update Details

Compensation Package Announced

The highly anticipated Version 1.5 update fell short of player expectations, prompting Infold Games to acknowledge the problems in a May 18 Twitter/X post. The developer cited "unstable game performance and subpar content quality" as reasons for the compensation.

The update introduced multiple technical glitches across platforms, with some issues preventing gameplay entirely. Unexpected system changes included:

  • Increased 5-star outfit requirements from 9-10 pieces to 11 pieces
  • Maximum pulls needed for a complete outfit raised to 220

Infinity Nikki's New Dye System Frustrates Players

Additionally, the newly implemented dye system proved confusing, requiring separate color palette unlocks for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was temporarily removed as its associated outfit remains in development. "Technical challenges prevented proper refinement of the Sea of Stars chapter and Threads of Reunion narrative setup," the developers stated.

From June 5-12, all players will receive:

  • Daily compensation of 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal
  • Total of 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals

Despite the compensation, players continue expressing concerns about unresolved issues including:

  • Pity system changes
  • Dye system functionality
  • Various persistent bugs

Version 1.6 Postponed

Infinity Nikki Version 1.6 Release Delayed

Due to Version 1.5's problems, Infold Games has extended the current version to address issues, delaying Version 1.6 until June 12, 2025. This postponement affects:

  • Original event schedules
  • Starlit Pursuit weekly tasks (now launching in Version 1.6)

Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for the Starlit Pursuit delay. The developer noted: "This extension allows us to refine task mechanics for better gameplay experience. Further details will be announced later."

Future Adjustments Planned

Infinity Nikki Developers Promise Improvements

Infold Games acknowledged that Version 1.5's issues run deeper than what's been disclosed: "Additional unannounced adjustments are being discussed. Some changes require extended development time, but we're committed to implementing them through phased updates."

The studio plans improved player communication through a new Miraland Round Table initiative, allowing direct feedback through:

  • Email with "Table Advisor" subject line
  • In-game Customer Service option

While expressing regret for the delays, Infold Games remains committed to improving the game, stating: "We feel remorse for delayed promises yet appreciate your continued support."
