Monster Hunter Wilds Surpassed 8 Million Units in 3 Days
Monster Hunter Wilds Is Now Capcom’s Fastest Selling Game
Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds) has swiftly become Capcom's fastest-selling game, with sales exceeding 8 million units within just three days of its launch. Capcom proudly announced this achievement on their official website, highlighting MH Wilds as the quickest title to reach such a milestone in the company's history.
The game's success on Steam is evident, with over 1.3 million concurrent players recorded, despite receiving mixed reviews. Capcom credits this success to their extensive promotional efforts, including participation in global video game events and an open beta test that allowed players to experience the game firsthand.
Latest Update Addressed Game-Breaking Bug
Monster Hunter Wilds has recently rolled out a crucial update that tackles several bugs affecting player progress. On March 4, 2025, Monster Hunter's official support account, Monster Hunter Status, announced via Twitter (X) that the hot fix patch Ver.1.000.04.00 is now available across all platforms.
This patch addresses critical issues, including the inability to unlock the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features even after meeting the necessary criteria, inaccessibility to the Monster Field Guide, and a game-breaking bug that halted story progression in Chapter 5-2, "A World Turned Upside Down," among others. Players are required to update the game to continue enjoying online play.
However, some issues remain unresolved, such as network errors triggered by firing an SOS flare post-quest start, and Palico’s blunt weapon attacks failing to inflict stun and exhaust damages. These multiplayer-related bugs are expected to be fixed in an upcoming patch.
