Path of Exile 2: Conquer the Sekhemas Challenge

This guide provides a walkthrough for unlocking and completing the Trial of the Sekhemas in Path of Exile 2. This endgame activity, similar to the Sanctum from the first game, offers valuable loot. However, it can be challenging for less powerful characters. While not a main quest, it significantly contributes to early progression.

Unlocking the Trial of the Sekhemas

To begin, defeat Balbala the Traitor, a formidable boss located within Traitor's Passage in Act 2. Her swift, powerful attacks present a significant challenge early in the game. Upon defeating her, she drops Balbala's Barya, a crucial item required to initiate the Trial of the Sekhemas.

After defeating Balbala, navigate to the Trial of the Sekhemas using the Ardura travel map or a Waypoint. You'll find a dilapidated temple where Balbala, now acting as a guide, awaits. Place Balbala's Barya on the Relic Altar to commence your trial.
