Surprisingly, some players overlook this essential item. Initially absent from Minecraft, the shield's addition simplified survival. Crafting one is straightforward:

1. Gather 6 wooden planks (easily made from logs).
2. Obtain 1 iron ingot (smelted iron ore).
3. Arrange the planks in a "Y" shape in your crafting grid, placing the iron ingot in the top-center slot.

Finding a Shield
