Sengodai: Craft Monsters in Tactical Deckbuilder Roguelike

Sengodai is a tactical roguelike deck-building game from Tsunoa Games. The Spanish indie studio, known for its debut mobile title Katana Dragon, crafts experiences that blend a love for retro gaming with unique fusions of Asian and European cultural themes.

Mastering Monster Collection in Sengodai

Sengodai combines elemental strategy with a dynamic, ever-changing campaign. Your mission is to build a squad of Gokai monsters and lead them through varied worlds to confront and overthrow cursed deities.

Every run is a unique expedition where branching paths, shifting encounters, and fresh tactical combinations keep the gameplay unpredictable. Your success hinges on the cards, creatures, and skills you gather during your journey.

The core campaign spans five distinct worlds, complemented by a highly replayable adventure mode. Both are fueled by procedurally generated maps filled with randomized duels, merchants, and sculptors, ensuring no two playthroughs are ever identical.

Victory in Sengodai requires depleting your opponent's life tower to zero. You lead a trio of Gokai, guided by a God, and wield a custom deck of Element and Spell cards to dominate the battlefield.

Element cards empower your Gokai, enabling them to purify cursed land during combat. Each act of purification costs 1 Stamina from the Gokai. When a Gokai's Stamina hits zero, it becomes stunned for one turn.

Sengodai is Now Available on Mobile

The game launches with five Gods—four of which are unlocked through gameplay—alongside over 20 collectible and evolvable Gokai cards. Your arsenal is further expanded by more than 40 Spell cards, obtainable by defeating foes or trading with a mysterious merchant.

If you're ready to dive in, you can download Sengodai now from the Google Play Store.
