Throughout your journey, you’ll encounter red glowing objects scattered across the levels—these are the Soulstones. Often hidden in hard-to-reach areas or guarded by enemies, they require careful platforming and sharp observation to locate.

Unlike regular collectibles, Soulstones aren’t meant to be kept—they must be destroyed using either melee attacks or the Javelin’s ranged capabilities.

Once you unlock the hub area known as The Crevice and gain access to level-select portals, you’ll be able to track how many Soulstones exist per level and monitor your progress accordingly.

How To Use Soulstones in The First Berserker: Khazan

Each destroyed Soulstone contributes to a cumulative total that can be used through an NPC named Daphrona. You’ll first meet her during the Embars Ruins – Forgotten Temple level. She provides insight into the Netherworld and the dangers of energy leakage. After completing this stage, she relocates to The Crevice, where she becomes accessible within the Nether realm.

When you speak with Daphrona, you’ll have the option to Unleash Soulstones. Depending on how many you've collected, you can choose from two primary enhancements:

• Increase Lacrima Gain: This boosts your experience accumulation rate, helping you level up faster and improve character stats.
• Enhance Health Recovery: Increases the amount of health restored when using Netherworld Energy.

Occasionally, additional powerful buffs may become available, such as attack boosts or improved recovery effects—offering even more strategic depth to your playstyle.

It's always wise to return to Daphrona after collecting several Soulstones to see if you’ve reached a threshold for a new benefit.
