Square Enix Announces The EOS Of Romancing SaGa Re:universe

Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, the global journey ends after four years.

Two Months Remain

In-app purchases and Google Play Point exchanges have already ceased. The global launch in June 2020 marked the beginning of a chapter now concluding. Despite strong visuals and a generous gacha system, the global version received mixed player feedback.

Unlike its successful Japanese counterpart, the global version lacked key content updates such as Solistia and 6-star units, a significant omission that contributed to player attrition.

Community Reflections

Square Enix has shuttered several titles this year, including Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest mobile games. Romancing SaGa Re:universe joins this list.
