Supercell's mo.co Soft Launches on Android with a Twist!
Supercell is inviting players to explore the thrilling realm of monster hunting with their latest MMORPG, mo.co, which is now in soft launch exclusively on Android. The unique aspect of this launch is that it's an 'invite only' event, adding an exclusive touch to the early access phase.
How to Get In?
Supercell has adopted a novel approach to the launch of mo.co. Although the game is live, access is restricted to those with an invitation. You can download the game from the Google Play Store, but you'll need a code to play after installation.
For the initial 48 hours, content creators will distribute codes that expire rapidly, starting at 20 minutes and extending to 24 hours. Following this period, you'll need to register on the official site and wait for access. However, players who reach level 5 within the game will have the privilege of inviting others to join the adventure.
The exciting part is that all your progress will carry over once the game fully launches, making this more than just a trial run. To get a glimpse of what mo.co has in store, you can watch the latest trailer released by Supercell for the soft launch.
What’s the Game’s Premise?
mo.co adopts an arcade-style approach to monster hunting, offering a faster-paced and more accessible experience than games like Monster Hunter. In mo.co, you step into the shoes of a hunter on a mission to track down and defeat Chaos Monsters—creatures from parallel worlds that have invaded Earth.
The gameplay features isometric hack-and-slash combat where you can execute combos, deploy gadgets, and enhance your gear to tackle the most formidable foes. Additionally, mo.co includes PvP modes, ranging from free-for-all battles to team-based confrontations.
Supercell assures players that mo.co will not incorporate pay-to-win mechanics. All monetization within the game will focus on cosmetic items such as outfits and accessories, ensuring that you won't need to spend money to acquire better weapons or stat boosts.
That concludes our overview of the mo.co soft launch. Stay tuned for our next update on the surprising shutdown of Star Wars: Hunters, which occurred before it even reached its first anniversary!
