How Spells Work in Fields of Mistria

Spells are a unique feature in Fields of Mistria that unlock after reaching Floor 10 in the Mines. To access the Mines, you'll need to help the town reach Rank 10 by earning enough Renown points. Once you hit the 10th floor, Caldarus will guide you further with his echoing voice. Speak to him at your next chance, and he'll introduce you to spells by gifting you the powerful Full Restore spell, which, as the name implies, fully restores your health and stamina.

To unlock additional spells, you'll need to progress through the game's story, explore deeper into the Mines, and break the elemental Seals. Keep an eye out for future updates, as they will introduce more spells, and this guide will be updated accordingly to reflect those changes.

You can monitor your spells anytime by navigating to the Spells tab (marked by a sparkle icon) in your Journal, just below the Animals tab. You can pin one spell to your HUD for quick access, while others require activation through your Journal.

Using spells consumes Mana, which you can replenish with Mana Potions or allow it to refill naturally over a few days.
