Unveiling the Legend: Wuthering Waves: Knight's Quest Walkthrough Guide

This guide details the "The Last Knight" side quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves region. It's a relatively short quest, but offers rewards and a glimpse into life outside Ragunna City.

Quick Links

The Last Knight unlocks after completing Chapter 2 of the main storyline ("What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing"). It's recommended to finish the main questline before exploring Rinascita extensively, as many side quests are locked until Chapter 2, Act 3.

Starting the Quest

Locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's near the first house by the main road, marked by a blue quest marker.

The Night Reveries

This involves a nighttime performance centered around a legendary knight. Defeat the Mad Knight, who appears between 6 PM and 6 AM, near the town's central pool. This enemy isn't particularly challenging.

Mimic Chests

After defeating the Mad Knight, travel to the tallest tower and then to Carlow's location (quest marker). He's unconscious near a purple flower. Touching the flower transports you to an area with mimic chests.

The first three chests are genuine. In the next set, only the second chest (middle-left) is real. Open it for Astrites and other rewards, but prepare for a fight with the remaining mimic chests.

The Knight's Trail and Strange Scent

Follow quest markers to visit two locations associated with the legendary knight. This involves interacting with NPCs.

After speaking with Mr. Millkeeper, follow the scent to a battle with a unique Chop Chop and invulnerable enemies. A "Questless Knight Echo" is recommended for this fight, allowing you to parry and stun the Chop Chop. Mr. Millkeeper reveals the truth about the "legendary knight."

Finding Carlow

Return to Egla Town during the day and find Carlow in a town plaza. He's confronted by knights. The quest concludes after Carlow challenges one to a duel, signifying his rejection of the romanticized legend and acceptance of his role as a protector. You'll receive Union XP, Astrites, and resources.
