If you are 13 years or older and registered with an NHS GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man, you can take advantage of this convenient tool. Additionally, you can access these services through the NHS website on a computer.

Access NHS Services

With the NHS App, you have the flexibility to access your NHS services anytime and anywhere. Key features include requesting repeat prescriptions, using the 111 online service, and locating nearby NHS services. Depending on your GP surgery, you may also have the ability to book appointments and reach out to your surgery regarding health issues.

Manage Your Health

The NHS App offers a convenient way to manage your health by allowing you to view your GP health record, including your test results. You can handle upcoming appointments and prescription requests efficiently. Additionally, you can make important health decisions, such as registering your organ donation choice.

Receive Messages

Stay informed with important messages from your GP surgery and other NHS services through the app. Enabling notifications ensures you are promptly alerted to new messages.

Manage Services for Other People

The NHS App allows you to switch profiles and manage services for other individuals, such as a child or family member, provided your GP surgery grants you access. Both you and the person you are managing must be registered at the same surgery.

Log in Securely

If you do not already have an NHS login, the app will guide you through the setup process, requiring you to verify your identity. Once set up, the app securely connects to your NHS service information. For enhanced security, if your Android device supports it, you can use fingerprint, face, or iris recognition to log in each time you use the app.
