The Guardians of the Road project has been relaunched with a brand-new application, boasting a significantly improved and more user-friendly experience.

Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the Safe Path association.

Citizens aged 18 and over can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations.

Using the app is quick and easy. Activate the app before driving, and when you witness a violation, engage the reporting feature. Reporting can be initiated via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will automatically begin recording video and audio evidence of the infraction.

These recordings are transmitted to a control center staffed by volunteer controllers with extensive traffic expertise. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases involving life-threatening violations, reports are forwarded to the police for further action.
