If you use both the FreeStyle LibreLink app and the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader with the same sensor, remember that alarms can only be received on one device at a time. To receive alarms on your smartphone, start the sensor with the app. If you prefer to use the reader, start the sensor with the reader. Note that the app and the reader do not share data, so to get a complete picture of your glucose levels, scan the sensor every 8 hours with the device you're using.
