● Hasami Shogi Rules

Players are split into Infantry and Gold sides. The core rule is to take an opponent's piece by "sandwiching" it between two of your own.

You win by capturing three of your opponent's pieces.

Due to the nature of Hasami Shogi, some games can reach a stalemate. While design choices aim to minimize this, luck can sometimes be a factor.

● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules

Players are divided into Infantry and Gold teams. Move all your Infantry pieces into the opponent's 3x3 base territory to win. Your pieces can leap over opponents.

● Surround Shogi Rules

Players are again split into Infantry and Gold sides. Similar to Hasami Shogi, you capture by sandwiching an opponent's piece. Additionally, you can claim and surround squares to expand your territory.

The game is won by capturing six frames (surrounding lines) or by securing three territory squares.

Every game mode features a CPU opponent with three difficulty levels. Player-versus-Player (PvP) mode is also available.
