Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) offers a groundbreaking feature that allows players to skip boss fights without combat. In the latest Koji Pro radio broadcast on April 14, Director Hideo Kojima shared that this option is designed to assist players new to the game in progressing through challenging encounters.

Kojima revealed that players can select "continue" on the game over screen to bypass a failed boss fight. This triggers a visual novel-style sequence with images and text that convey the battle's narrative, enabling players to experience the story without needing to fight.

Kojima confirmed that DS2 is approximately 95% complete. He described the development stage as being at "10 o’clock (PM) on a 24-hour clock," indicating only a few final steps remain.

DS2 continues the story from the original game. At South by South West (SXSW) last month, Kojima Productions and Sony unveiled a 10-minute trailer highlighting the game’s narrative and introducing new characters that have sparked excitement among fans.
